Perdido en Mexico!

Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe
I'am devotee of Mama Mary since I am a child, and when I learned about me going to Mexico, the first thing that comes to my mind is that I want to see Our Lady of Guadalupe or if have the chance to visit Her shrine it would be great. But unfortunately, it's far away from Guadalajara where I will be staying for 4 or 5 weeks.
The Basilica is located in Mexico City and it would took me around 8 hours to travel there by land.

Guadalajara Cathedral
20 mins travel from my hotel is the Guadalajara Cathedral. I am stil lucky because inside the church I found a shrine of our Lady of Guadalupe, although its not that big as the one in Mexico City its still the replica of the same shrine. I always come here every sunday to attend the mass, although the mass is in spanish I can still relate because it still the same sequence of the mass celebrated in Philippines. I've been used to hear mass in spanish now, and somehow it is more solemn...

Around Guadalajara
Most of the old buildings in Guadalajara can be found around the Guadalajara cathedral and also, here I found the Museo of the old Guadalajara goverment.

Mercado Guadalajara
Plaza del sol (mall), San Juan de Dios (Down town) Tlaquepaque (market), and Tonala (market) are the places were I buy most of the pasulobong that I will be bringing to Philippines. But the most cheapest market of them all is Tonala (prang divi sa pinas!)

Hotel Carolina Suite
It's a nice hotel if you want to stay for more than a month, because they have the complete amenities for free. Including kitchen per room, pool, gym and the even allows you to use their kitchen utensils. Although, this is not a 5 star hotel where the rooms were so big...but prices of things here are not in GOLD...so it is nice to stay here for long. I am the one that was covered with towel in the pool (camera shy)..I also celebrated my birthday here. haaaayy...missing my home...

TORTILLAS, TACOS, BURITOS, TORTA ALA MEXICO

Food here are big! it's hard to finish one order of tacos, tortas agohadas and buritos. That's why most of the people here are huge. If in Philippines we have rice, in Mexico they have tortillas that is always included in every meal!
