Capture Every Moment...(My first unofficial photo job)

At last! I was able to practice my skills in photography after a series of learning from the web.

Trishia(my niece) was baptized last Sunday (August 5, 2007) and I took the oppurtunity to practice all the things I've learned from the web..
I am a bit satisfy but still have many thing to improve..sabi ni Grace I should be rated as 8 (10 is the highest) for the beginner..Hindi ko alam kung matutuwa ako or malulungkot kasi wife ko sya, baka may +5 ako sa kanya...=)
But anyway, here are some of the photos before, during and after the ceremony...

Like No Other - My 2nd Digital Camera

Sa wakas, after so many sleepless night, I have decided (syempre with permission from grace) to buy a new Digital Camara.

Go back to my new Digital Camera, it was a Sony H-Series-DSC-H2 (as shown above). Gusto ko sana Digital SLR na kaso nde pa talaga kakayanin ng budget. Siguro next plan will be that pag mayaman na ko. but for now, I will explore yung mga features ng Digital camera and take some photos at pag talagang may talent na ko, then I will buy a Digital SLR-Camera.
I bought the camera for around 25,000 pesos but the good thing about the price ay may gift certificate pa na worth 5,000 pesos and from that I was able to buy, 2GB memory, Carrying Case, tripod and 6 rechargable batteries! Kaya sulit narin...=)

Being a neopytes in photography, nag aral ako tru internet..yung mga free lessons and I tried some of their advices..
Here are some of my photos...

Perdido en Mexico!

Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe
I'am devotee of Mama Mary since I am a child, and when I learned about me going to Mexico, the first thing that comes to my mind is that I want to see Our Lady of Guadalupe or if have the chance to visit Her shrine it would be great. But unfortunately, it's far away from Guadalajara where I will be staying for 4 or 5 weeks.
The Basilica is located in Mexico City and it would took me around 8 hours to travel there by land.

Guadalajara Cathedral
20 mins travel from my hotel is the Guadalajara Cathedral. I am stil lucky because inside the church I found a shrine of our Lady of Guadalupe, although its not that big as the one in Mexico City its still the replica of the same shrine. I always come here every sunday to attend the mass, although the mass is in spanish I can still relate because it still the same sequence of the mass celebrated in Philippines. I've been used to hear mass in spanish now, and somehow it is more solemn...

Around Guadalajara
Most of the old buildings in Guadalajara can be found around the Guadalajara cathedral and also, here I found the Museo of the old Guadalajara goverment.

Mercado Guadalajara
Plaza del sol (mall), San Juan de Dios (Down town) Tlaquepaque (market), and Tonala (market) are the places were I buy most of the pasulobong that I will be bringing to Philippines. But the most cheapest market of them all is Tonala (prang divi sa pinas!)

Hotel Carolina Suite
It's a nice hotel if you want to stay for more than a month, because they have the complete amenities for free. Including kitchen per room, pool, gym and the even allows you to use their kitchen utensils. Although, this is not a 5 star hotel where the rooms were so big...but prices of things here are not in GOLD...so it is nice to stay here for long. I am the one that was covered with towel in the pool (camera shy)..I also celebrated my birthday here. haaaayy...missing my home...

TORTILLAS, TACOS, BURITOS, TORTA ALA MEXICO

Food here are big! it's hard to finish one order of tacos, tortas agohadas and buritos. That's why most of the people here are huge. If in Philippines we have rice, in Mexico they have tortillas that is always included in every meal!
